Well, I have a tip for you! La Virginia Hotel & Resort in Mataas na Kahoy is an ideal point in Batangas ridge around Taal Lake. Furthermore, the resort is just fifteen minutes drive from Lipa City. If you are a nature lover, you should not miss the leisure park resort. It is a huge property, located on top of mountain with an optimum view of Taal Volcano and Taal Lake. Filled with bright green trees and colorful flowers that will make your day. With these natural wonders all over the resort, it is a perfect spot to get hold of your camera and have a slice of the beauty of nature. Every corner at the resort will definitely give quality pictures for you to treasure with your family and friends. Have good time and discover the resort attractions like the Ifugao Village, the hanging bridge, see the life-size statues, and the tree house where you can get a grand view of Taal Lake and the Volcano. La Virginia also has hotel rooms for couples or tourists with a vista of Taal Lake and the lush green mountain. Then we inspected the Bamboo House and good enough to fit four persons. The house has two queen size beds, a private toilet and bath, a small dining area with refrigerator. Actually there are more options a guest can take for their accommodation needs. Like the Ifugao House, Lalen Guest House, Octagon House, Twin Guest Room and the Top Room. Shows you one thing, how spacious is the resort ground. Of course the resort has a restaurant that serves Filipino mouth watering dishes. Their top favorites are relyenong bangus (stuffed milkfish), kare-kare (oxtail stew), sinigang na baboy (boiled pig with sour tamarind and different vegetables) and inihaw na hito (grilled hito fish). The resort has number of pools. Well, sorry did not take note on the exact numbers of pools at La Virginia. But I’m confident and sure that all will make your swimming activity at the resort a pleasant one. Aside from swimming one can play badminton or if you have a big group, form a team and play basketball. I almost forgot to mention that the resort is open for a day trip. It has a wide variety of day tour picnic huts for its guest individual needs. Guest can choose from a big Hut House to budget friendly Mushroom Cabana.
